Doug, his wife Denise, and two sons Jake and Tony moved to the valley of the sun in June of 1997 from Minnesota, where Doug said, "the winters were not getting any shorter".

Doug has been in sales since the mid 80's, mostly working for a veterinary pharmaceutical company in the Midwest and here in Phoenix. He and his wife enjoy taking walks throughout the Sierra Verde subdivision of Arrowhead Ranch. They also enjoy boating and fishing on Lake Pleasant with their boys, or hopping into the car and taking a day trip up north.
What Doug really loves about Arizona is "being able to totally change one's surroundings by driving just a couple of hours". Doug also enjoys golfing, camping, or just being with good people.
